Day 7: Sat 1 Sep – Glasgow

13-18 degC

I was starting to feel a little tired by this stage as my lurgy had still not totally vanished so I came home and had a short LLD before having mornos. I was OK for the rest of the day then.

I spent the rest of the day making sure I was all squared away for the start of the Congress tomorrow and then did some photo sorting from the trip, what an effort that was. Lunch was another very yummy pre-packaged chicken Caesar salad from Tesco Express.

We had dinner at a place called Bread Meets Bread and it is essentially a fancy burger place with toasties as well. I had the classic cheeseburger and a pint of local beer. We met Ellie the UK LTCOL who has organised all the MEPS activities this year.
